Principles of Capturing Mosquitoes

Mosquitoes, even in the dark, can easily access where a person is by sensing carbon dioxide and temperature that he/she sheds.  Also, they react extremely sensitively to near ultraviolet rays.

Using these properties of mosquitoes, Triple Trap can decoy and capture mosquitoes both in bright indoors and in dark outdoors by a tripartite system: HEAT and A CERTAIN WAVELENGTH  RAY produced from the mosquito bulbs installed inside, and CARBON DIOXIDE produced when bulbs are radiated onto TiO2 coat.

Decoyed mosquitoes enter the exterminator through the capture windows on the upper parts, and then are strongly drawn into the capture net, on the lower part. Once they are drawn into the capture net, they cannot fly away upwards due to the strong current of the ventilator. Mosquitoes quickly dehydrate and die. No messy & costly sprays.

Our patented gate system employs a butterfly check valve downwind of the motor which is opened by airflow from the fan and closed by counter-balancing weights. The gates are made of ABS material and are entirely maintenance free.

Installation Instructions:
Unpack unit. Save box for off-season storage. Plug cord into an outdoor outlet or UL-Listed extension cord. For best catch results leave unit on at all times, except when cleaning or servicing. Catch rate activity will be higher at night. For best catch results it is recommended to place unit away from other competing light sources.

Cleaning Instructions:
Switch unit off and unplug before cleaning. Remove the collection chamber/retaining cage with a twisting motion, turning clockwise. Empty insects into trash container and brush off collection chamber/retaining cage (brush included) and fan. Replace collection chamber/retaining cage with a simple twist.

Important safety Instructions:

1. Always turn unit off and disconnect plug before servicing, cleaning, or changing bulbs.
2. Using a small brush and soapy water, carefully clean the fan and the funnel. Ensure that water is not allowed to enter into the Fan Motor. Never hose water into the Fan.
3. Collected insects within the unit may contribute to fire, so clean insects from the unit frequently.
4. In order to prolong the life of your device, stand in a dry place when not in operation.
5. Mount product out of reach of children.
6. Keep cord away from heat, oil, or sharp edges.
